You missed an easy layup. DEI is at its core antisemitic. DEI reports show 1 minority owner in the NFL when there are 10, the 9 Jewish owners don't count.
Think for a second, Zaq. If there was no such thing as Affirmative Action and you were facing murder charges, you'd be wise to hire the best one. And, without Affirmative Action, it might be a black person.
I have no doubt that most NBA owners are Jewish. Likewise, Hollywood is run by Jews and most book authors (and owners of hard-cover books) are Jewish. It seems amazing, having the history of antisemitism, pogroms, and attempts at genocide, the Jews seems to become extremely successful in whatever career you are investigating. Want to find a good lawyer/doctor/diamond cutter?
There is a vast difference between being a player in a league that is nearly 100% black and those businessmen who must keep the teams afloat. You may consider it 21st Century gladiators entertaining the overfed rich: I do. But, as Tony Soprano often said, "Whatcha gonna do?"
The social status of professional sports, its public interest and the affairs of its players is a kind of DEI all by itself and much older too. DEI wants to get its twitchy little fingers into professional sports? Who cares?

I thought this was about the NBA.

It is, I have numbers for the NBA also

“The NBA wants diversity everywhere but in the hands that dribble the ball.”
Hmmm… not sure you are entirely correct about that.
Pretty sure DEI also does not cover ownership ranks - as measured by percentage of each team owned.
If you have statistics that suggest otherwise, those would be very interesting to see.
Has Dan Gilbert sold 42% of the team to blacks, Hispanics and Latinos? I suspect not.
🤣🤣🤣
