Oh we had a BIG moose in NYShitty--Janette Sadik-Khan! I had TWO friends that got DOORED cuz'a those dumbly designed "bike lanes" right next to traffic (one ended up in Woodhull, a fate worse than that accy-dent!). Parking got sacked...an' then when the "rat shacks" went up durin' covidcon 'tween those & the bike lanes--no more roads! only pedestrians... that IS the globalist plan after all...smart shitties.... "CON" as I'll call her... wuz the same VISION-"airy" that made midtown traffic worse by blockin' it off an' totally! an' sealing off the CENTER of Times Square so homeless men had a nice places ta evacuate their bowels an' harrASS tourists... (tear it down!).

A well heeled moose but a moose no less with these oversized clumsy intentional "accidents" in the name of "safety" (nope, she warn't hit by a car but could've in her skateboard lanes!) Oh, an' what they did with those "elevated joggin' paths" downtown by Battery Park (they had ta rip up part've it) wuz also obscene. Convinced Bullwinkel would'a done bettah (he had nothin' up HIS sleeve!)

fun fact, Sadik was the daughter of a Nazi imam

https://www.danielgreenfield.org/2013/05/springtime-for-bloomberg.html

Khan is the granddaughter of Imam Alimjan Idris, a Nazi collaborator and the principal teacher at an SS school for Imams under Hitler's Mufti, Haj Amin al-Husseini. The bio of his son, Wall Street executive Orhan Sadik-Khan, frequently mentions the bombing of the family home in Dresden and surviving trying times after World War II. It neglects to mention that the times were only trying because their side was losing.

oh mah golly, I did NOT know that--seems like she carried on the legacy and tried ta inflict Dresden on NYSeized... her wreckage is long lasting! Off ta read yer piece onnit.... wild stuff, a nazi moose no less!

ps just read it--oh mah that wuzza good piece! hilarious an' sadly troo: "Infidels sit in their cars and honk while bike lanes go unused.." priceless!

Ya fergot only one thing, the bloviated useless, light-blocking, hideous Hudson Yards project that screwed up the 7 train, benefited nobuddy that didn't have a 7-figure salary, an' got famous fer all the sooey-cides from idiots jumpin' from the "Vessel," that twisted ugly insect carpace that looks crafted fer ritual sacrifice but instead just symBULLized full loss of sanity (some say Sir Bloomberg is Obama's "handler" -- they deserve each other!) That said, Manipedi's even worse! (an' will heinously carry on Janette's CON fer sure)

Let me see if I get this right. When the Department of Education is established, education worsens. When mass vaccination programs are introduced, health worsens. When DEI programs are introduced, race relations worsen. When the Vision Zero program is introduced, traffic death rates worsen.

I am sensing some type of pattern here, but I'm not sure. Could someone help me out here?

(knowing smile)

I hated what was done to city streets in Oregon, just didn't realize it had a name beyond Idiotic Driving Hazards for Big Bucks.

What is Vision Zero? I did a Ctrl-f of the article webpage and turned up 19 hits. Nowhere did I find even the attempt to explain what Vision Zero is. Since this was the subject of the whole article I might expect Daniel Greenfield to submit a scathing summary of what Vision Zero actually was.

I went to Wikipedia to see if I could do the job myself.

I couldn't. Nowhere at the Wikipedia site did it even try to explain what the substance of the program was. The closest I could come to finding something was with Speed Limits.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vision_Zero#Speed_limits

Quote: Vision Zero suggests the following "possible long term maximum travel speeds related to the infrastructure, given best practice in vehicle design and 100% restraint use".[6] These speeds are based on human and automobile limits. For example, the human tolerance for a pedestrian hit by a well-designed car is approximately 30 km/h (19 mph). Unquote.

Yeah? "Maximum travel speeds related to the infrastructure"? A quick scan of the implementation in various states and countries yielded many committees, task forces and political commitments.

It looks sort of like Covid without the doctors.

Zero doomed from the start, setting unreasonably high expectations is a trick to keep the population worried, dependent on government, clamoring for bureaucrats to constantly pass additional useless regulations. Nothing in life is zero or perfect. Expecting so is what makes Leftists crazed.

I think by now many of us know, all the supposed good intentions for the greater good are really about achieving zero in all the rest of us. They've been at it a long time, but are having more success of late, sadly!

God will have the last word, no matter what!

Great article. Walking across the street in Miami-Dade County is often quite difficult.

Let the record show that I have almost hit moose while driving in New Hampshire and nearly got trampled by moose in Alaska...twice! Vision Zero would not have helped in any of those situations!

😸😂😅🤣 Never heard of it! Perhaps better if named Zero Vision, except the socialist/communist snakes here had all that taxpayer $ in view & still do!
